Meet Lynne Heryford

Hi, my name is Lynne Heryford,

(Pronounced Hereford, like the cow!) I am a “ranch raised” cowgirl that was quite possibly born in the wrong century because, I was born a homesteader. So, that’s what I do!

With the majestic Rocky Mountain Front as its backdrop, The Heryford Homestead sways with the sometimes harsh Montana winds and rhythms of farm life. This is where I endear to nurture this homegrown lifestyle. I get up early every morning, excited to tackle the day’s projects. Lambing, milking the cow, working in the garden, gathering eggs, knitting yarn from my sheep’s wool, harvesting honey, making soap, butchering chickens, (ok…butchering chickens is not something that excites me….but fresh chicken does ;-), or quilting with friends, these are all blessings from the Lord that allow me to live a very joy-filled life!
